If you click the destinations in the above map, it'll give you estimates of when I will be there. So, if you fancy a trip to somewhere new for your next week long holiday, why not hit me up and we can go exploring.

Equally, if you've explored some of the world already then I would love to hear your hints and tips. For places to see, ways to travel or just all about your experiences.

What am I most excited about?

At the moment, the two destinations I'm most excited about are at the beginning and the end of my travels. Cape Town, South Africa, is exciting because I have surf lessons and a safari booked. Both of which I've never done before. Antarctica is my final adventure in the travels and is just so different to everything else. It's sure to be an absolute thrill.

Where are the 7 Wonders

Funnily enough there's actually 8, but I'm only seeing seven as I've done the colosseum in Rome before. The "new seven wonders of the world" were announced in 2005 by Bernard Weber after gathering 100+ million votes. Add on to that the only ancient wonder still standing, that's the pyramids of Egypt, from the original list and you have your eight.

The Great Wall of China

A 4,160-mile wall was built to protect China

Petra – Jordan

Ancient capital city was built around 9 B.C. Now visible in its pink stone ruins and carved façade.

Christ Redeemer Statue – Brazil

Standing 125 feet tall atop the Corcovado Mountain high above Rio, this statue took five years to build.

Machu Picchu – Peru

This “city in the clouds” was built 8,000 feet above sea level in the 15th century by Incan emperor Pachacutec.

Pyramid at Chichen Itza – Mexico

The center of Mayan civilization in its day, Chichen Itza is still visible in several structures.

Taj Mahal – India

Built in 1630 by emperor, Shah Jahan, in honor of his dead wife, this white marble structure combines Indian, Persian, and Islamic style of architecture.

The Pyramids of Egypt

Three pyramids, Khufu, Khafra, and Menkaura located at Giza, Egypt.
