Arrival
The arrival in Czech was really convenient. Landed in T1, exit F, then across the road is the AirPort Express bus which goes all the way to main station (MS) in about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.
Just have to mind out as at MS the platforms are large and the trains are often a lot smaller. The regional trains (I used RegioJet) are very good. The food is cheap on the train and the 2nd / business class are very good value and often not a lot more expensive.
Event
The installation and training at Ostrava university went off without a hitch. The building was located at Syllabova 2883/19 opposite a car park and was located on the second floor (without a lift) and a new building was being constructed opposite as part of the simulation center.
It was very cool seeing the haptic / VR Virteasy Dental simulator next to a conventional dental chair.
Socials
In Ostrava I was recommended Dock Cafe by just about everyone. It didn’t disappoint, AF beer on tap, great food and live music.
Also found a restaurant, near the Main Station, called Loft which was also a hotel and bistro. All the food was amazing, with a starter of salmon gravalax and a main of roasted octopus.
Yum! 😋
