Arrival
It was a fun experience coming to Lithuania, mainly because it was the first time my colleague had ever gotten on a plane. It’s amazing sharing these experiences with people and living vicariously through their heightened senses.
Getting to Work
Straight off the plane we were picked up by our new distributors and taken to the AirBnB to pose our bags before shooting off straight to the university.
It was an intense week, but good for my colleague to see what it can be like. We encountered no real issues but had a lot of training sessions to get through with the staff.
The Food
Loved trying all the food which is very potato based but there’s also a good selection of international foods. We tried to stick to cheap, local diners to get a more authentic experience. Obviously, language was a barrier, so we did our best to point at random foods.
The People
The town seemed very artistic with a lot of creative people. Užupis was definitely my favourite area which amplifies all of that. People in the street seemed a bit more distant, and it became a game trying to steal a smile from each person that we interacted with.
